Can Retinol Reduce Eye Wrinkles?

Retinol is one of the topical solutions to reduce eye wrinkles. Today, so many people rely on this method to provide a solution to their common skin aging problems. But is this really the best?

Retinol is actually a derivative of Vitamin A. One of the reasons why it is used for treating wrinkles is because it has shown muscle in correcting skin connective tissue damages. As a result, the damages to the skin that might be causing those eye wrinkles to appear can be removed.

However, this method is not always a bed of roses. There are some reports of users experiencing even deeper wrinkles in their eye area after using this. This is because in addition to being an ingredient that can supposedly correct skin tissue damages, this treatment makes skin photosensitive. A little sun exposure might lead to even more damages done to connective tissues. And remember that the dermis around the eye area is significantly thinner than the rest of the body. Because of that, it needs mild treatments only.

Another problem I can see with this method is that Retinol does not really solve the issue of skin aging. It does repair connective tissue damages but it lacks the significant things that should be done to the skin. This means that when you are looking for the right treatment to solve this problem, you have to broaden your options. Look for more natural products that can help your skin immensely.

Eyeliss is one good ingredient you can try. It contains natural peptides that help in plumping up skin cells. It is effective in thickening up dermis layers and correcting damaged tissues. You should also look for CynergyTK. Taken from sheep wool, this is one of the most natural ingredients for wrinkles and fine lines. It is made up of functional keratin that initiates the renewal of collagen and elastin so you can fade those marks away. Phytessence Wakame is also a good choice. This sea kelp is also one of the secrets of Japanese people in looking younger. It has the natural ability of protecting hyaluronic acid in the body. This is the acid that supplies moisture to collagen and elastin.

Retinol is not the only way to reduce eye wrinkles. Be more discriminating about your choices of treatments so you do not waste time and money to products that will not produce the best results.
